Case notes

Case notes are anonymous summaries of complaints handled by Utilities Disputes. You can search for case notes by issues, year or type (such as electricity or gas).

Please note: Case notes produced before 1 November 2016 will refer to The Office of the Electricity and Gas Complaints Commissioner and members (now referred to as providers).

Tips on searching case notes:

At least one of the four fields above must be selected in order to conduct a search.

If searching for:

  • Issues, such as 'billing', 'disconnections' or 'lines', enter the word(s) as text in 'issues contains'. You may also leave this blank
  • Year of the case note, select from the 'year' drop-down. You may also leave this as 'any'
  • Types of case notes, such as electricity or gas, select from the 'type' drop-down. You may also leave this as 'any'
  • A case example, a conciliator may give you a case number, enter this in 'case number'. You may also leave this blank 

Once you have filled in one or more fields, select the 'find' button and the results of your search will be displayed.
